TIM MULLALLY, Bass Sales
Email: Tim@davesguitar.com

After being exposed to "that evil rock and roll" while still in junior high school, Tim was soon to be encouraged by a neighborhood friend and already gifted guitar player, Steve Gruden, to be a part of his band "Wheels Up". As Steve put it, "I think we need a bass player and I think it should be you." Tim gladly accepted the offer and started palying versions of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple songs at parties and clubs at the age of fifteen.

Tim moved to the Minneapolis area after high school and was soon distracted by the idea of playing again. He joined the band "Mirage" in late fall of 1985 and played Minneapolis and regional clubs where they opened for "The Time" at First Avenue. They felt that this would be their chance to be seen by the "Purple One". They were seen, but because of internal conflicts, they soon self destructed in March of 1986.

Tim started playing again in November 1990 when he joined antoher Minneapolis band "The Strand" that toured up and down the eastern part of the U.S. After playing in almost every state east of the Mississippi River, they disbanded in April of 1991.

In May of 1991, Tim joined the La Crosse area band "Buzz Butler" that included guitarists/vocalists Jim Peterson and Casey Virock.

In November of 2001, Tim started with the band "Surf Nation". This band is bringing a modern edge to the world of surf music.

Tim can also be found playing witht he band "Fast Annie" from Winona, Minnesota.

Tim has yet to get a respectable tone out of anything but Fodera basses, Aguilar Amplification, and Lexicon signal processing. His main musical influences include: James Brown, Aerosmith, The Mermen, Gary Willis and Scott Henderson from Tribal Tech, Victor Wooten, John Paul Jones, and Tom Petersson from Cheap Trick.
