Overdrive can be dialed in with the amp's volume control while retaining sensitivity to changes in your guitar volume and tone settings. Outboard pedals and effects work well, whether directly into the front or though the serial buffered FX loop.

Overdrive has a punchy dynamic response yet maintains clarity and articulation, even at high gain settings. Break-up is harmonically sweet and complex with a finish of thick swirling bloom and sustain. Player feel can be set more firm, or can relax and sag depending on Vintage/Modern settings. The high voltage tube boost can cut through the mix and provide additional overdrive and compression."
