From Paul Reed Smith:

“The limited run Semi Hollow DGT is based on a guitar I special ordered a few years back. The limited edition features moon inlays and a McCarty Sunburst finish. The semi-hollow design has a bit warmer top end and a little less bottom than the solid body, making it a super versatile companion to my stock DGTs.” – David Grissom

"After many requests, the PRS DGT is now available as a semi-hollow instrument in this limited edition, based off one of David Grissom’s personal guitars. The tried-and-true foundation of the PRS DGT is maintained here, including the DGT neck shape, pickups, and dual volume control layout. The mahogany body with maple top features semi-hollow construction, giving the guitar increased resonance and lively tone.

The original DGT is based off of the McCarty platform and is the product of a decades-long collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. The vintage heart of this instrument is further embodied by the McCarty Sunburst finish and moon inlays. This limited edition is hand-signed by Paul Reed Smith on the front of the headstock and by David Grissom on the guitar’s backplate. Only 200 of the PRS DGT Semi-Hollow Limited Edition will be made in 2024."

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
