From Collings:

"After several years in development and numerous prototype iterations, we are excited to introduce an I-35 like you've never experienced before — the new I-35 LC Vintage. Drawing inspiration from the best instruments of the 1960s, our newest offering in the I-35 lineup provides an exceptionally loose and organic feel, achieved through a ground up reworking of everything from its laminate and center block recipes to its neck construction. Custom Throbak pickups and Bumblebee capacitors bring its open, acoustic response to life, expanding its versatility and proving that, although it looks every bit the part of a time-tested instrument, its appeal is more than just skin deep."

Jet Black, Serial number I35LC222010, Aged high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, Extra long mortise and tenon neck joint, Semi-hollow laminated Maple body with a Maple/Spruce center block, Ivoroid binding, I-35 LC Vintage shaped Honduran Mahogany neck, Bound 12" radius Rosewood fingerboard with the Mother of Pearl long dot inlays and medium frets, 24 7/8th" scale length, 1 11/16th" nut width, Throbak ESG-102B bridge and neck pickups with the 50's style wiring, Kluson ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, Gotoh/Collings tuners, With an Ameritage hardshell case

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
