Whether you're an electric shredder, an acoustic strummer, or groovy bassist, we’re looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for music and our commitment to making sure every customer leaves with the perfect instrument for their needs.
Job Overview:
As a Full-Time Guitar Shop Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our shop both in-store, over the phone, and online. You’ll help customers discover their next guitar, guide them through our wide range of electric and acoustic guitars, and deliver top-notch customer service. You'll also handle online order processing and help create product listings for our inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Assist customers in-store, providing product recommendations and personalized service for electric and acoustic guitars. Our customers are the most important part of our business and ensuring they have a positive experience is our foremost priority.

    • Answer customer queries over the phone, offering professional advice and product details. Assist with order placement over the phone if desired.

    • Provide support to online customers, ensuring smooth transactions and timely responses to inquiries.

  • Sales & Product Knowledge:

    • Use your knowledge of guitar brands, models, and accessories to educate customers and ensure the right fit for their needs.

    • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and be able to explain the differences between various guitar models, amplifiers, and accessories.

  • Online Sales & Listings:

    • Help post product listings on Shopify, ensuring accurate descriptions, and pricing.

    • Assist in fulfilling online orders and maintaining proper inventory levels.

Qualifications:
  • Experience & Skills:

    • Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a music or guitar-related environment.

    • Solid knowledge of electric and acoustic guitars, including brands, models, and accessories (experience with both beginner and professional gear).

    • Comfortability with basic computer tasks, including using Microsoft and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, outlook).

    • Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus but not required.

  • Customer-Focused:

    • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for helping people find the perfect instrument.

    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication:

    • Clear and professional communication skills, both in-person and remotely (via phone, email, or online chat).

    • Comfortable speaking with customers from all walks of life, from beginners to seasoned musicians.
