1963 Fender Stratocaster - Burgundy Mist

The 1963 Fender Stratocaster pictured is finished in the custom color Burgundy Mist Metallic, but otherwise has the typical features associated with that year.  These include: a maple neck with a separate rosewood fingerboard, clay dot inlays (replaced in 1964 by slightly larger pearloid dots), and a small headstock (until 1966) with the original “spaghetti” Fender logo (replaced by a “transition” logo decal starting in July of ’64).  The three pickups and controls are attached to a greenish celluloid pickguard (replaced with white plastic by 1965).
