From Taylor:

"With a beautiful sunburst top that echoes its old-school acoustic personality, the Gold Label 817e SB offers a bold visual twist on the classic slope-shoulder dreadnought experience. This deeper-bodied Grand Pacific model pairs Honduran rosewood back and sides with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, serving up a richly textured voice with clear trebles, rumbling lows and remarkable warmth across the frequency spectrum. The added body depth unlocks greater low-end expansiveness and projection. Fanned V-Class™ bracing—applied with hot hide glue—enhances volume, sustain and pitch consistency along the entire fretboard. A long-tenon Action Control Neck™ increases resonance and allows for on-the-fly string height adjustments through the soundhole. This model sports the Gold Label Collection’s modified headstock shape with an angled-back design and script-style Taylor logo. A stylized, dual-layer pickguard—with faux-tortoise over ivoroid—features an engraved motif that complements the mother-of-pearl Continental fretboard and peghead inlays. Additional appointments include a single-ring paua rosette, grained ivoroid body binding with ivoroid and Honduran rosewood edge trim, antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons, and a full-body gloss finish. The Gold Label 817e SB comes equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior."

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
