Now, Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom, is proud to introduce the 1960 Hummingbird Reissue, an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of those iconic first-year Hummingbirds. This gorgeous acoustic guitar has a thermally aged solid spruce top that is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing made from quarter-sawn, solid spruce. The back and sides of the 1960 Hummingbird Reissue are made from solid mahogany. It delivers a warm, rich tone overall that works extraordinarily well in a wide range of musical styles. The one-piece, thermally-aged, 24.75” scale mahogany neck has a Rounded profile that is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard that is outfitted with 20 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays."
