From Jackson:

"Born in Southern California in 1980, Jackson was the first brand to embrace the needs of hard rock and metal virtuosos by providing instruments with feature sets that catered to high-velocity playing.

Jackson has continued to revolutionize its high-performance craft over the last 40 years, while dominating the metal landscape as the industry's leading shred machines. The Jackson American Series is the next chapter in Jackson's storied legacy, marking the first made-in-Corona flagship product line for the brand.

Equipped with all the essential attributes, the American Series Soloist™ SL2MG HT leads the way in establishing a new standard in the premium high-performance category as it inspires players across the globe.

The American SL2's alder body is matched with a sustain-enhancing through-body three-piece maple neck that has a pair of graphite-reinforcement rods for the ultimate stability to resist temperature- and humidity-induced bending and warping. Hosting 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and inverse mother of pearl sharkfin inlays, the 12"-16" compound radius rolled ebony fingerboard is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing - more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out up the neck for increasingly fast playing and bends without fretting out. Luminlay® glow-in the-dark side dots provide exceptional fingerboard guidance even on the darkest stages, while a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief tweaks on the fly.

Powered by a pair of brawny EMG® 81 and EMG 85 humbucking pickups, this brutally powerful instrument delivers commanding punch while retaining clarity with enhanced note definition, a critical component for modern metal. Harness the sonic horsepower with a versatile three-way blade pickup switch and single volume and tone controls. Other premium features include a Hipshot® hardtail bridge system for reliable tuning stability, Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop® dual-locking strap buttons.

Designed with our trademark metal style, the American Series Soloist SL2MG HT comes in Satin Black and Matte Army Drab finishes with color matched Jackson pointy headstocks and black hardware."

Matte Army Drab, Alder body, 12"-16" compound radius Ebony fingerboard with Inverted Mother of Pearl Sharkfin inlays and Jumbo Stainless Steel frets on a Maple Speed neck with Graphite Reinforcement, 1.6875" wide Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, 25.5" scale length, the neck measures .74" at the 1st and .82" at the 12th frets, EMG 81 Bridge and EMG 85 neck pickups, 3 way switching with volume and tone controls, Hipshot 6 - Fixed .175 bridge, Gotoh MG-T Locking Tuners, 7.5 pounds, comes with foam core case.

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
