From Heritage:

"The Heritage Standard II Collection H-535 continues the legacy of the Kalamazoo semi-hollow, combining expressive tone, versatile electronics, and refined craftsmanship in one elegant instrument. Built at 225 Parsons Street, this guitar celebrates the artistry of American guitars with subtle modern enhancements for today’s player.

At its heart are the Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers, designed and wound in-house for a broad tonal spectrum and exceptional dynamic range. Crafted with 42 AWG plain enamel wire in the neck and 43 AWG poly wire in the bridge on Butyrate bobbins, and powered by 2.5” roughcast Alnico 5 magnets, these pickups deliver everything from rich, velvety jazz tones to biting rock clarity. Potted covers minimize unwanted feedback and ensure stability even at higher gain levels.

The H-535 also features modern series and parallel switching via push and pull tone pots, offering players expanded flexibility from warm, full-bodied humbucker sounds to bright, articulate single-coil textures without volume loss.

Its maple laminate body provides resonance and clarity, paired with a comfortable ’60s neck profile that evokes vintage familiarity. The updated headstock, adorned with the new Heritage logo, refines the instrument’s silhouette, while premium electronics ensure reliable, professional-grade performance.

Offered in a new Chestnut Burst finish alongside classics like Trans Cherry, Ebony, and Original Sunburst, the Standard II Collection H-535 stands as the perfect companion for players who seek both tonal diversity and timeless design."

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
