From Paul Reed Smith:
"Extend Your Range. Explore What’s Possible.
With its lightweight body, ergonomic contours, effortless upper-fret access, and refined neck profile, the Tekton SVN feels comfortable and familiar while offering new creative possibilities. Featuring a 26.5” scale length optimized for extended-range performance, this 7-string delivers the clarity, comfort, and precision needed to explore new musical territory from complex chord voicings and expanded harmonic textures to crushing low-register riffs.
At its core are PRS Stylus SVN pickups, developed specifically for the Tekton family. Voiced for articulation, aggression, and dynamic response, these pickups preserve clarity and character across the entire frequency spectrum. Whether paired with a traditional amplifier, a modern modeling system, or a complex recording setup, the Tekton SVN delivers focused, musical tones that remain defined even under high gain.
The extended 26.5” scale length provides enhanced string tension and lowend clarity while maintaining a responsive feel across the ebony fingerboard. Combined with stainless steel frets, a 16” fretboard radius, and the Tekton family’s performance-driven specifications, the result is a 7-string guitar designed to support technical precision, expressive lead work, and evolving musical ideas.
Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, Tekton reflects the philosophy behind this guitar: combining thoughtful craftsmanship with modern performance. Built for players who are constantly refining their technique, expanding their sound, and looking ahead to what’s next."
