"Crafted with an all-Hawaiian-koa body featuring a gloss finish and shaded edgeburst, the 260ce-K DLX Bajo Quinto brings an inspiring new visual and tonal identity to the traditional Mexican instrument. The 10-string, double-course bajo quinto is tuned to A-D-G-C-F, with octave pairings on the low end and unison courses on top. Part of the Somos Collection—a Latin-inspired family of instruments—this model features a solid Hawaiian koa top paired with layered koa back and sides in a cutaway Dreadnought body. The result is a warm, textured sound with enhanced volume, sustain and intonation thanks to C-Class interior bracing—a cantilevered variant of our V-Class voicing architecture. A slim-profile neck delivers smooth, signature Taylor playability. 200 Deluxe Series appointments include Sentinel fretboard inlays, a single-ring Italian acrylic rosette, and gold Taylor tuners.
