From Taylor:

"Updated this year with new features that enhance its sound and musical utility, this Builder's Edition 814ce Blacktop offers a richly appointed take on our flagship Grand Auditorium with a tone that's bolder than ever. Back and sides of solid Indian rosewood paired with an Adirondack spruce top generate a complex voice with blooming overtones that resonate around clear trebles, warm lows and exceptional power. Inside, a new scalloped variant of our V-Class architecture provides an additional boost to volume, sustain and tonal depth, also improving pitch accuracy and harmony all the way up the neck. Player-centered touches include a beveled armrest, matching cutaway and chamfered body edges for a truly seamless feel, while our new onboard Claria System pickup features intuitive soundhole-mounted preamp controls that make it easy to plug in and play on the fly. Appointments complementing the striking black top color treatment include a full-body gloss with a Kona edgeburst for the back and sides, Element fretboard inlays, Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold, an abalone rosette, maple binding with black and rosewood edge trim, and a rosewood pickguard."

Testimonials

★★★★★

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
