This newly updated Riviera features a body made from five-ply layered maple, with a solid maple centerblock that adds sustain while simultaneously greatly reducing feedback when compared to a fully hollow thinline electric guitar, so it’s perfect for every player and ready for any stage, no matter how hard you’re rocking it. The body is trimmed with single-ply binding around the top and back.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable Rounded C profile that is not too big or too small—it sits in the hand “just right” for many players. The neck features a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and is adorned with stylish pearloid parallelogram inlays. The 12” fretboard radius delivers an ideal playing surface, whether you’re playing first-position chords or laying down screaming leads with heavy string bends further up the neck.

The traditional sloped dovewing headstock is adorned with the Epiphone logo and 60s-style oval headstock inlay, both rendered in mother of pearl. The headstock is equipped with reliable Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners with metal buttons, which, in partnership with the GraphTech® nut, ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The truss rod cover uses the classic crescent bullet design and features the Epiphone “E” logo. The three-ply pickguard also proudly displays the classic foil Epiphone “E” logo.

The Riviera has nickel hardware throughout and comes equipped with Epiphone’s LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Frequensator™ tailpiece. The Tune-O-Matic bridge is fully adjustable for action height and individual string intonation, while the Frequensator tailpiece optimizes string tension and playing feel from the lowest strings to the highest.
